Here at Prodigy we offer a wide variety of classes to choose from!

Acro

Acrobatics, similar to gymnastics, consists of both basic gymnastics skills all the way up to

advanced tumbling skills. Acro promotes balance, strength, agility, and control in all dancers.

Ballet

Ballet is foundational to all styles of dance. This class teaches students to move gracefully, learn basic arm and leg movements applicable to other styles, and improves posture, musicality,flexibility, and strength.

Ballroom

Ballroom classes consist of multiple styles including East Coast Swing, Jive, Rumba, Bolero, Cha Cha, Mambo, Samba, Paso Doble, and bachata. Ballroom can be danced solo or with a partner and can vary in speed. This class is helpful towards muscle memory, footwork, and stamina.

Contemporary

Contemporary classes are a fusion of modern,jazz, and ballet which focuses on fluidity of

movement and the story-telling aspect of dance.

Hip-Hop

Hip-hop is a fun, energetic class meant to improve style, stamina, and artistic expression and is

typically danced to hip-hop music.

Jazz

Jazz classes focus on flexibility, strength, and technique, with a foundation in ballet. Jazz is

accompanied by a variety of musical selections,

which allows dancers to explore their own

individual style.

Mommy and Me

Our Mommy and Me classes are designed to introduce young dancers to the dance environment, while having Mom's support in the classroom! The classes will involve a mixture of Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop, as well as games to start introducing the different techniques. These classes are geared for 2 and 3 year old dancers.

Stretch

Stretch class is for the sole purpose of improving flexibility and control in dancers. This class will focus on improving flexibility in the legs, hips, feet, shoulders, arms, and back.

Tap

Tap classes strictly focus on the sounds made by tap shoes of dancers, promoting rhythm,musicality, coordination, and cognitive abilities.
